D1 QRTP Accreditation - CARF Lessons Learned
Information about QRTP’s and requirements for accreditation is now everywhere; it can be confusing and overwhelming.
In this interactive workshop you will learn the specific requirements, application steps and time frames to best position your program for successful CARF accreditation under FFPSA. This interactive session offers the opportunity to hear firsthand from an Indiana provider currently in the process of preparing for CARF accreditation. You will learn which portions of preparation can be the most challenging and time-consuming. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and will be provided with tips and examples.
Leslie Ellis-Lang, Managing Director of Child and Youth Services at CARF International has more than 30 years of professional experience in the behavioral health and child welfare fields specializing with children, youth and families. Prior to joining CARF in 2009, Leslie held leadership positions in not-for-profit and for-profit organizations.
Jeff Schumacher MS, MBA has worked in the Childcare field for over 30 years. He has a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling and an MBA. Past positions include: Therapist, Program Director, Vice President and Executive Director. Jeff has been involved with developing and measuring programs for most of his career. He served on the IARCA Outcomes committee for 20+ years. He has worked with many agencies to better understand and use their outcome data to enhance services to the children and families they work with.
