F3 Better Relationships, Better Outcomes
Utilizing the latest research, this workshop will explore the relationship between the therapeutic alliance and clinical outcomes in work with children, youth, and families.
Participants will come away from the workshop with a clear understanding of what the therapeutic alliance really is, and how to maximize its power to realize better outcomes.
Barry Winstead M.Div., M.A., LMFT is currently the Clinical Director at Kilgore Samaritan Counseling Center in Louisville, KY. Prior to this position he was the Clinical Director at Open Door Youth Services in New Albany, IN. He is on the clinical faculty of the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He is an AAMFT Approved Clinical Supervisor and in this capacity provides supervision to marriage and family therapists. In his 20 years of clinical experience he has provided care across the continuum of care from inpatient acute care, to residential, to traditional outpatient settings. He has a particular interest in common factors research and application, and Ericksonian therapy.
