B5: Breaking the Service Silos: Residential Therapy and Home-Based Services


How can residential and home-based agencies break out of their silos to better serve youth and families? This interactive workshop will explore how these two services lines can increase proactive collaboration to improve outcomes.

Learning Objectives:

  • Create a better understanding of the role of residential treatment and home-based services.
  • Generate ideas for how residential and home-based staff can work together to improve the experiences of youth in care.
  • Explore how residential and home-based staff can work together to facilitate interactivity with and involvement of a child or youth's parents.
