Parent Aides

Job Description:

Parent Aide’s will provide intensive family support services within the family’s natural environment. Utilizing a variety of evidenced-based techniques within the scope of the Parent Aide’ ability and/or training with emphasis on one or more of the following areas:

  • Time Management
  • Parent Education
  • Problem solving/conflict resolution
  • Stress management/anger management
  • Self-esteem/personal adjustment problems
  • Communication skills/Interpersonal relationships
  • Family Visitation
  • Assessment of needs
  • Advocacy
  • Family Processes/Structure/Organization/Supports
  • Goal setting
  • Community resource connection
  • Budgeting, Meal Planning and/or Home Management
  • Any other identified areas within the scope of the Parent Aide’s role and/or area(s) of expertise

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and/or GED.
  • Prior experience working with families and children preferred.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
  • Successful completion of limited criminal history check
  • At least 21 years of age and able to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and continuous use of a reliable vehicle, where car seats can be installed, and multiple passengers can ride.

Case Managers 

Job Description:

Case Managers will provide intensive case management support to families in crisis, with goal oriented and time limited services within the family’s natural environment. Utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques, within the scope of the Case Manager’s ability and/or training with emphasis on one or more of the following areas:

  • Coordination of Services
  • Parent Education
  • Problem solving/conflict resolution
  • Stress management/anger management
  • Self-esteem/personal adjustment problems
  • Communication skills/Interpersonal relationships
  • Family Visitation
  • Assessment of needs
  • Advocacy
  • Family Processes/Structure/Organization/Supports
  • Goal setting
  • Behavior Modification
  • Budgeting, Meal Planning and/or Life Coaching
  • Any other identified areas within the scope of the Case Managers role and/or area(s) of expertise

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s, Degree in Psychology, Sociology or Social Work or other human service degree with 39 credit hours of related coursework, or
  • Human Service related Master’s degree.
  • Prior experience working with families and children preferred.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
  • Successful completion of limited criminal history check
  • At least 21 years of age and able to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and continuous use of a reliable vehicle, where car seats can be installed, and multiple passengers can ride.

Licensed Therapists 

Job Description:

Therapists will provide individual, couples, family, or group therapy within the family’s natural environment. Utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques within the scope of the therapist’s ability and/or training with emphasis on one or more of the following areas:

  • Family of origin/inter-generational issues
  • Parenting
  • Problem solving/conflict resolution
  • Stress management/anger management
  • Self-esteem/personal adjustment problems
  • Communication skills/Interpersonal relationships
  • Trauma
  • Family Processes/Structure/Organization/Supports
  • Goal setting
  • Grief and loss
  • Substance abuse
  • Any other identified areas within the scope of the therapist’s area(s) of expertise

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree with a current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board as one of the following: LSW, LCSW, LSW Temporary, LMFT-A, LMFT, LMFT-A Temporary, LMHC-A, LMHC, and/or LMHC-A Temporary or license eligible.
  • Prior experience working with families and children preferred.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
  • Successful completion of limited criminal history check.
  • At least 21 years of age and able to operate a motor vehicle.
