Family Time, Inc. is an agency in southeastern Indiana which provides social services to adults and children, providing quality services since it was founded in 1998. Family Time, Inc. provides various community based social services including Supervised Visitation, Parent Education, Home Based Family Centered Casework Services, Fatherhood Engagement Services, Home-based Therapy and Homemaker services. Primarily serving Clark, Floyd, Scott, Washington and Harrison counties, Family Time, Inc. provides thousands hours of family-based services per year to hundreds of families.

Our Mission: To facilitate family centered services in an environment where children are protected physically and emotionally while parents, children, and caregivers are treated with the utmost respect.

We are hiring MSWs throughout Southeastern Indiana (including but not limited to Clark, Scott, Floyd, Washington, and Harrison Counties) for contract positions. First interview will be via phone. 

Home-Based Therapist

Salary range: $35 to $40 an hour

Start dates: flexible

Licensing: Can start with pending temporary license application, with contingencies (discussed during interview)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide various therapeutic services that may include individual, group psychotherapy, play therapy, music therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, etc.

  • Ability to meet required client care hours

  • Comply with company documentation standards

  • Maintain appropriate professional behavior and relationships

Travel expectations with job: up to 85% travel providing client services

Work Hours: flexible but will require some evening and weekends

We are seeking candidates with the following qualities:

  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance

  • A commitment to providing individual attention to help clients achieve mental, emotional and physical well-being

  • Ability to adhere to Family Time, Inc. onboarding policies and required background checks

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree with a current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board as one of the following: 

(1) Social Worker 

(2) Clinical Social Worker 

(3) Marriage and Family Therapist 

(4) Mental Health Counselor 

(5) Marriage and Family Therapist Associate 

(6) Mental Health Counselor Associate. 

Or a Master’s degree with a temporary permit issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board as one of the following: 

(1) Social Worker 

(2) Clinical Social Worker 

(3) Marriage and Family Therapist 

(4) Mental Health Counselor
