MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides supportive intervention and skills training services to child and adolescent clients receiving services through Park Center programs.

2. Plans and implements a range of social, recreational and skills training programs including individual and group intervention, communication, creative arts, and money management. Provides client transportation as required.

3. Reviews and updates required documentation related to treatment plans.

4. Responsible for meal preparation and clean up with assigned clients.

5. Participates in discussions related to client care.

6. Maintains client care and required documentation in accordance with Center policy and procedures.

7. May assist client with needed information upon admission or discharge.

8. May assist in maintaining facility in a neat, clean and safe condition.

10. Serves as an informal Center representative to the general public, community groups, and referral sources.

As a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, provide a range of psychiatric rehabilitation and psycho-social interventions to Park Center’s adult clients.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides psychiatric rehabilitation and psycho-social interventions to adult clients needing intensive support as directed by nursing or social services staff. May provide services to adult patients with complex needs.

2. Implements a range of therapeutic interventions as directed by nursing or social services staff.

3. Participates in the implementation of treatment plans as directed by nursing or social services staff.

4. May be responsible for meal preparation and clean up.

5. Maintains client care and required documentation in accordance with Center policy and procedures.

6. Assists in client admissions, discharges, and transfers as assigned.

7. May assist in maintaining facility in a neat, clean and safe condition.

8. Utilizes appropriate verbal de-escalation techniques to minimize the need for seclusion or restraint.

9. Serves as an informal Center representative to the general public, community groups, and referral sources.
