We counsel individuals or groups regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, or family situations and develops and implements therapeutic treatment plan in residential setting in compliance with COA standards and state, federal, agency and all other applicable rules and regulations. Training and supervision:

  • Two weeks of paid training on the Wernle and DCS System
  • Supervision provided by Clinical Director’
  • Obtains thirty-two (32) hours of continuing education credits per year.

Case Manager Job Description

Job Description:

  • Monitors individual, family, and community behavior interventions to assess client needs.
  • Monitors clients’ behaviors, participation, and progress within the home, school, and community.
  • Researches and obtains resources necessary to implement interventions.
  • Facilitates goal setting, feeling identification, emotion regulation, resume building, seeking employment, and skill building activities which support the client’s treatment.
  • Composes supporting documentation including caseload reports and daily notes within specified deadlines to communicate client’s progress with referring agency and family.
  • Effectively communicating as a liaison between client’s family and referring agency.
  • Coordinates and supervises visitations between clients and family members
  • Attends court hearings and provides testimony concerning client progress and treatment.
  • Coordinates medication management with client psychiatrist as needed/requested by Treatment Team

Job Description:

  •  Build rapport and establish healthy relationships and boundaries with clients, families, probation, school personnel, foster placements, and a variety of referring agencies.
  • Connects families with formal and informal supports within their community.
  • Effectively uses time management skills to coordinate, schedule, and fulfill set appointments.
  • Monitors individual, family, and community behavior interventions to assess client needs.
