Campagna Academy was founded over 70 years ago and continues as a mission-centered, vision-inspired, “for-impact” organization that still believes the world can be changed one child at a time. Our programs include Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Residential, Open Residential, Secure Residential, Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) and Emergency Shelter Care. We are expanding our programs in the Spring of 2021 to include a Diagnostic and Evaluation Program. Campagna Academy is a 24/7 facility that offers an IOP Substance Abuse Treatment Program, Day and Evening Reporting Programs and offer Therapeutic Foster Care.  Our life changing programs impact over 500 youth and families annually.

Job Description: Interacts with the clients and facilitates individual goals to address their psychosocial, spiritual, intellectual, and physical needs. Follows interdisciplinary treatment plan, reports and records clients’ behaviors, interactions, and responses to the treatment plan. Monitors client’s behaviors and intervenes appropriately in a safe manner using de-escalation techniques and least restrictive measures as possible.  Understands and implements daily client activities specific to the assigned program under the supervision of the Unit Supervisor.

Job Description: Implement programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical and personal needs of youth. Ensure youth are safe, healthy and living in a clean environment. Assist clients with activities of daily living and maintain a safe and clean environment. Supervise clients, being cognizant of any signs of self-harm, suicidal ideation.  Assist, support and instruct youth in self-help skills designed to encourage independence and establish and maintain a therapeutic rapport with youth. Assist client with online homework, be a support if they require additional help. Actively assist assigned clients in the participation, involvement and routine of individualized program to help open doors and create independent and productive lives for children and adolescents.

Job Description

  • Perform various client care activities and related services in caring for intellectual, psychosocial, physical, and spiritual needs of the clients.
  • Responsible to the Program Director & Unit Supervisor for planning and implementing the structure of the shift worked including maintaining therapeutic control. 
  • Provide supervision and direction for Youth Care Specialists working the shift and helping the staff follow the structure of the shift.   
  • Maintain role model stance with staff in regard to dealing with behavioral and control problems by modeling therapeutic interventions.   
  • Recommend disciplinary actions for staff to the Unit Supervisor and Program Director.  
  • Assist DFC Caseworkers, Courts, and families of clients in getting their needs met by the program.
  • Demonstrates a positive professional attitude for all staff to follow.
