Trauma Responsive Leadership Skills: Building Capacity for an Effective and Engaged Team
A trauma responsive leader is committed to the well-being and development of their staff through promotion of an organizational climate that is safe, respectful, and inclusive. An important competency of the trauma responsive leader is the ability to build the capacity of an effective, engaged team.
This highly experiential, 2-day workshop is designed for supervisors who are new to—or would like to be refreshed in - supervision skills and other strategies related to employee engagement and performance.
This workshop provides participants with knowledge about and opportunities to practice the following core leadership skills in a way that is trauma responsive:
- Monitoring workplace stress
- Promoting strong performance and engagement
- Conducting performance appraisals
- Helping staff who are underperforming and/or disengaged
