(Virtual) April TACTICS: Treating All Clients with Trauma Informed Care Strategies
Note: This training will be conducted in a virtual environment. At the trainer's request, all participants will need to attend via a video chat where their video and audio are on and working.
In recognition of the virtual environment, we have split the one-day training into two half-days. Please check to make sure you can attend both sessions before registering.
The IARCA Institute for Excellence is pleased to collaborate with Children’s Bureau, Inc. to bring you trauma informed care training. This two-part training will focus on systematic approaches to creating and maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and employees. Time will be spent learning about trauma, NEAR science, the ACE study, and the role of neuroscience. Participants will gain an understanding of how to build resiliency through successful intervention; teach trauma informed parenting strategies; and, what it means to be a trauma informed organization.
Each session will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 to 4 eastern.
